Neighboring businesses have been complaining about residents dumping their trash by their dumpsters. Other residents have been complaining about the villages being overrun with hoarded bicycles (when each unit is only allowed one).

KOMO News 4’s Jonathan Choe spoke to Sharon Lee, Executive Director at the Low Income Housing Institute about the villages.

When asked about the excessive trash and bicycle problem, Lee stated that Choe was not being fair, that he was being nasty, and that she wanted to talk to his manager.

Today, when people across America think of Seattle, it is marred by the image of the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) and a lengthy year’s worth of rioting only overshadowed by the likes of Portland. They think of sidewalks obstructed by tents, trash, needles, and random violent assaults.

These negative associations with Seattle have been largely limited to downtown Seattle, on the south side of the Ship Canal Bridge; the other shore of Lake Union.

The north end of Seattle is a suburb of its downtown counterpart and has seen few of the problems downtown has, of which activity tends to be isolated along Highway 99. Yet, it is governed by the same Mayor and City Council as downtown Seattle, and those problems are now surfacing in communities who thought they had adequate distance from these problems.

The Bitter Lake Community of Seattle is on the most northern edge of North Seattle, only a handful of traffic lights shy of exiting city limits entirely. It’s a much more quiet single family home community, nestled in side streets between the main drags of Greenwood and Aurora avenues.

During the pandemic when students shifted to remote learning at home, a homeless encampment formed on school property at Broadview-Thompson Elementary School in the Bitter Lake Community. Parents were apathetic at first, adopting an ‘out of sight out of mind’ position, and assumed that the situation would be handled by the time students returned to the classroom on school grounds. 

The encampment started in July of 2020, and the city promised it would be removed that September. Yet the encampment has not been removed, and has only grown larger.

As time drew closer to the beginning of in-school learning, the Seattle School Board asked the city not to remove these camps, including the one at Bitter Lake, barely within the city’s grasp. Parents began to worry about their children’s safety returning to school.

As children returned to school to finish the remaining school year, the encampment continues to grow. Weapons have been found in the encampment on school property, and the school was placed into lockdown over a pellet gun spotted in the camp.

Now, King County has brought their needle exchange program to the elementary school, handing out needles and syringes to members of the encampment right in front of children on school grounds.

From local Seattle ABC affiliate KOMO:

“‘To see them (public health) disperse the needles right on your frontage in plain sight for everybody to see was an outrageous moment,’ said Paul Riemann whose home looks directly into the encampment.

Neighbors said the criminal activity is mounting.

In the last two weeks, police have been called to the camp several times, a large sword was seen outside a tent and last Tuesday the school had to ‘shelter in place’ when a camper was seen with a pellet gun.”

The school district runs a unique model where they are only accountable to public opinion (where they’re currently catering to the Wokes) rather than being accountable to the students whom they teach, and the parents of the students. They don’t actually have an incentive to do right by whom they should be accountable to. 

Perhaps voting for School Board Members should be a privatized vote reserved for people who actually have school aged children in the district, rather than everyone who is eligible to vote who have no skin in the game. But this is pie in the sky, as it makes way too much sense to actually come to fruition. 

Not everyone can afford private school, especially if they have several school aged children. With two income households, not everyone can find time to homeschool; though with all children learning from home and having to make time to accommodate this, I hope many can give this a second thought. Do it if you can.

What can really make a difference however, is School Choice. This is a system where the student is funded rather than the school, and can choose which public school they want to attend. This would force schools and districts which have become comfortable with zoning and not having to act in the best interest of their students, to immediately be forced to do so. The alternative is that students leave, and therefore funding also leaves. If a school consciously continues to underperform or not provide a safe environment, the conclusion will finally, for once, be as it should. The school will rightfully close, and not look good on a future resumé.

This would make a world of difference for students in the Bitter Lake Community, who are currently zoned into Seattle Public Schools without a choice, to be given the option to attend Shoreline Public Schools just a few traffic lights away. 

Also, if you are a parent who believes schools should serve students and not the mob, consider running for School Board.

Witnesses state John Huynh was walking to his car when another resident walking past him flipped him off. A verbal confrontation ensued when witnesses reported the man lunged at the victim with a knife and stabbed Huynh in the heart. 

According to Q13 News in Seattle, the suspect lived with his mother, and the mother gave police a key to the apartment to arrest her son.

From Q13:

“While officers were outside the building investigating, the suspect’s mother approached police and said her son was involved. She gave them a key to her apartment, where officers found the suspect in a bedroom. 

The suspect’s mom later told police her son came into the apartment yelling that he’d just been attacked by an anti-masker. He told her he wasn’t hurt but that he thought he hurt the other man involved. 

When questioned by police, he declined to provide a statement.”

While the indication appears to be that the altercation was over the victim not wearing a mask, witnesses report that the suspect was the one who initiated the violent attack over the incident after being questioned about his obscene gesture.

According to Kiro 7 News, the incident was captured on surveillance, and there were a large number of witnesses.

 Kiro 7 News reported:

 “Bothell police said Williams — who has no criminal record — is seen on video surveillance suddenly lunging and stabbing 29-year-old John Huynh 45 seconds after Williams allegedly made an obscene gesture at Huynh, who had never met Williams before, according to witnesses.

 Witnesses told police that Huynh then asked Williams if he “flipped him off or waved at him.” A witness told police seconds later, he saw “Williams pull out a knife and stab the victim in the heart.”

 Police said a lot of witnesses at the apartment building and at restaurants across the street with outdoor seating saw everything that happened.”

At the time of this writing, a GoFundMe Campaign has raised over $60,000 for Huynh.

NBC Affiliate King 5 Investigative Journalist Susannah Frame took to Twitter to memorialize Letourneau.

The Tweet had mixed reactions, as some Twitter users found the post to be in poor taste. Yet others appeared to be sympathetic to Letourneau who raped a 12 year old student twice, and likely due to a double standard on child rape.

And that final Tweet brings up a point. The reaction to Mary Kay Letourneau’s death would have been much more one-sided had it been an instance of an adult male teacher raping a 12 year old female student.

Regardless of gender, children cannot consent. The fact that they had a seemingly on-again off-again relationship after she was released from prison was the product of him being the father of 2 of her children since he was in middle school. He was gaslit into some sort of a relationship being an obligation, which is why it proved toxic.

Yet, people have romanticized this. People have turned out to be Pedo Apologists because reasons.

This may be the one and only time I ever agree with gun-grabber Shannon Watts on anything.

Actually, they love Cops.

Seattle is the site of the CHAZ/CHOP zone, where protesters took over several city blocks of Capitol Hill, widely known as the Gay District—and during Pride Month nonetheless. Many Seattleites on the Left have been supportive of this movement, with Seattle’s Mayor Jenny Durkan defending it from Trump’s Twitter ire, where she referred to it as a “Summer of Love.”

During this takeover, protesters took over the Seattle East Police Precinct, forcing the police out. This zone appears to have developed a Jekyll and Hyde disorder, with a relatively calm and festive demeanor during the day, but violence by night. Mayor Durkan has now announced her intentions for the police to take back the East Precinct following three separate overnight shootings in less than a week. 

Protesters kept the police out of their zone following these shootings, and in each case ultimately transported the victims to Harborview Medical Center down the street by private vehicle. Yet, these protesters have remained upset that the medics would not come into CHAZ/CHOP to treat and transport the victim. Of course, it shouldn’t take a whole lot of forward thinking to understand why medics require police protection when going into a violent crime scene where a shooter is still on the loose and there’s no guarantee more shooting won’t erupt. But, here we are.

I couldn’t help but notice some striking similarities as well as differences between CHAZ/CHOP and the armed occupation of the Malheur Wildlife Refuge in Oregon by Ammon Bundy. 

It was similar because it was a protest of perceived unfairness in regard to criminal justice. It began when rancher Dwight Hammond started prescribed burns (a common practice of spurring new and fresh grass growth) on his own ranch land. It spread to the neighboring land owned by the Federal Government and managed by the Bureau of Land Management, who manage 2 pieces of land on either side of Hammond. While Hammond extinguished it, it’s also highly arguable that the Government benefited from it as their neighboring grazing land was likely in the same condition. 

Yet, the Federal Government prosecuted Hammond, and he was sent to prison. But that’s not what spurred Malheur. 

After Hammond was released, the Federal Government appealed his sentencing, claiming he hadn’t served enough time. The appeals judge sided with the Government, and Hammond was rearrested and sent to jail again, to serve a longer sentence for the same crime. That was the catalyst for Malheur. It was largely believed that the Bureau of Land Management wanted his land that sat between their 2 pieces, and was hoping to force him to sell.

Yet, it was different as the Malheur refuge was public property as opposed to private property, and never interfered with anyone’s livelihoods, homes or businesses.

It was similar as guns were involved along the perimeter, and law enforcement was to be kept out.

Yet, it was different as the Left called them treasonous and hoped for them to be massacred. They applauded the execution of LaVoy Finicum, who was run off the road and shot dead by the Feds while enroute in good faith to a meeting with local government.

Yes, they loved this. They love Cops.

Year after year, these same Leftists in Seattle who have promoted the ACAB phrase, have also voted for tougher gun laws. Every year like clockwork they cry,” we have to do something,” —as if they didn’t just do that the year before, and the year before. Banning streamlined private sales, enacting Red Flag Laws, and scapegoating the mentally ill who generally aren’t all that violent to begin with, Leftists love police enforcement.

In Snohomish County in Washington State, one county north of Seattle’s King County, Leftists have started a recall effort against Sheriff Adam Fortney, who refused to enforce the closing of businesses. They’re upset that police weren’t using heavy hands. These are also the same people who turned in businesses and neighbors to the state’s snitch site, which eventually was made public.

This week Washington’s Governor Jay Inslee issued an emergency directive requiring the use of masks in public in situations where six feet of social distancing cannot be maintained. Washington’s ACAB Leftists applauded this, which made non compliance a misdemeanor offense. To be enforced by police.

The Leftists who have latched onto the “All Cops Are Bastards” line are the same ones who continually create and pass new initiatives that require more police enforcement. They expect these to be enforced. They love it when these are enforced. They hate police who refuse to enforce what their causes are against people they don’t like, but they sure love it when police execute the people they don’t like.

I’m a fan of less policing, especially of non-violent crimes, but government social workers aren’t going to fill that void where violent crimes exist. Defunding the police would require a culture change of non-violence and a respect for private property. Leftists appear to be doubling down on a culture war that works counter to that. 

Ultimately, their only desire is for Cops to enforce their side upon those they dislike. If it weren’t for double standards, the Left wouldn’t have standards at all

For the very first time, you have the ears of the entire nation. Many Americans, including mainstream conservative pundits have seen the video footage of George Floyd die with a knee on his neck. They were all horrified. People who were previously skeptical of your message, who criticized taking a knee on a football field, are now all saying “hold up a minute.”

George Floyd’s death was senseless and tragic, like Eric Garner and Philando Castile before him. But now people are listening.

United States Congressman Justin Amash (MI-L) has now introduced a bill to end Qualified Immunity.

Yet, there are some who are riding your coattails and crying crocodile tears. They’re opportunistically hijacking your movement and your message to bring attention to their own self-serving causes.

They don’t care about George Floyd. They don’t care about black lives. They care about upending our society, and are using you to do it. The white Leftists covering for them by laying out False Dichotomies are in need of some serious introspection. They say that anyone bothered by this doesn’t care about black lives. When these white Leftists justify the burning of homes and businesses and the destruction of property, they are siding with your detractors. They are not your allies.

First, we need to explain who these people are. They are Anarcho-Communists. Their core belief system is the abolition of government and private property. They believe in a mob rule society. They have existed for a long while, and were the perpetrators of the WTO Riots in Seattle in 1999. This was before they rebranded themselves as ANTIFA, which they took from European groups.

You might have heard ANTIFA stands for “Anti-Fascist.” You also might have heard that MTV stands for Music Television. Neither of these function as they are named today.

Despite what ANTIFA would have you believe, being Anti-Fascist is a relatively common and mainstream position. Yet ANTIFA is fringe, and there’s a reason for that.

There is no conflict with being Anti-Fascist and a Capitalist. There’s no conflict with being Anti-Fascist and being a home and land owner. Yet, ANTIFA brands those who do not align with their fringe Anarcho-Communist ideals to be Fascists.

They care about one thing, and one thing only. The destruction of the government and the destruction of private property. That is their goal. They are using your movement as a vehicle towards that goal.

 Black people are noticing.

And of course, a white ANTIFA member made the unfortunate mistake of trying to vandalize NBA Star J.R. Smith’s vehicle.

I watched a Livestream of the Friday night protest in Seattle, when an Amazon Go building had their windows smashed in by white ANTIFA activists. A black man yelled “What are you doing? This isn’t about Amazon!”

But it is about Amazon to them. It was never about George Floyd. It was never about Black Lives.

They use your group. They use your numbers. They incite the confrontations between you and the police. Then they leave you on the front lines to go destroy property in your city. They call it “collateral damage” for your movement when it was their main objective all along. Mainstream white Leftists are giving a nod to these folks when they repeat the collateral damage talking point. In doing so, they’re softening and normalizing the hijacking of your movement on behalf of ANTIFA.

And for the most part, these Anarcho-Communists are not even from your city. They came from out of town, and they go back to where they came from. They sleep soundly in their community which remains intact, while leaving your community with empty stores and ashes. And they’re happy pinning their transgressions against your community on your movement.

They are grave robbing George Floyd to meet their own ends, and at your expense.

If you see an ANTIFA member destroying property at one of your protests, they must be dealt with in the language they understand. NBA Star J.R. Smith spoke it well.

The video was a plea to other officers to uphold their oaths to The Constitution, and imploring other officers around the country to not enforce draconian orders. He cited several examples in his video of ordinary citizens being arrested during the COVID-19 lockdowns.

I work with over 120 of them right now at the Port of Seattle Police Department.  But another 20 of my heroes have their names on the walls of the Peace Officer Memorials in Washington, DC and in Phoenix, AZ where I served 32 years with the Arizona State Patrol.  These men were my colleagues….they were my friends. This week is National Police Week and Friday, May 15th is National Peace Officers Memorial Day. While you stand up for Greg this week, please take time to also remember all of the heroes that have given their lives while serving and protecting others.

It is sad that we have become such a divided country because if you got to know me and the men and women working in our police department, you would find that in many ways we are probably not that different.  In my case, the one main way that we are different is that I have the responsibility to make sure that all of my officers do what we all signed up to do which is to protect and serve all Americans. And to do it while adhering to our training and our policies – all of them.

Domestic Violence Hotline calls increased in Nashville while domestic violence arguments increased in Seattle amid coronavirus quarantines.

The Seattle Police Department reported a 23% increase of 114 domestic violence–related events over the same time in 2019, Detective Patrick Michaud told the Daily Caller News Foundation, referring to the past 21 days of calls. The two primary categories with increases were domestic violence arguments, disturbance with no arrest, followed by domestic violence–assist victim by court order.

“This includes both dispatched and onviews,” he said. “When we just look at dispatched calls, that percentage increases to ~28% or 107 more calls from the previous year.”

The domestic violence crisis hotline Nashville YWCA Crisis & Support Helpline also reported a 55% jump in the first two weeks of March compared to the same time in 2019, according to the Tennessean, receiving 252 calls between March 1 and March 19 compared to the 163 calls the hotline received during the same period in 2019.

Advocates say victims are experiencing greater risks as Americans quarantine, placing victims and perpetrators in close and constant proximity.

The National Domestic Violence Hotline’s call, chat and text volume has remained in the usual range of 1,800 to 2,000 per day, spokeswoman Lisa Lawrence confirmed to the DCNF on Monday.

What we know about Coronavirus makes the things we don’t know unsettling. This has opened up a range of theories surrounding the pandemic. This article will use what we do know to connect a few dots. Some more controversial than others.

I am, by no stretch of the imagination, a medical professional. However, one thing I can do well is examine behavior and spot things that are out of place, inconsistent, or far too convenient that a coincidence is improbable. A bullshit detector, if you will. Mine works rather well. That doesn’t mean I know the answer, but it does mean the answer we’re being told likely ain’t it, chief.

THE ORIGINS

First, we know that Wuhan has a virology lab where this sort of virus would be housed and studied, if not purposefully engineered there. We have to remember that Coronavirus is not a new virus type, but rather this is a newer and more potent (or altered) strain of that virus.

We also know that Hong Kong was not the only site of protests. Wuhan had large protests over the Chinese government’s plans to build incinerators in that region. Enter Coronavirus, and  those protests have died down and 40 incinerators have been built.

While many may view these facts as circumstantial, the Chinese government clearly acted in their own favor, in what would be an identical result of how they would have acted had this been an intentional release. Does that prove beyond a doubt this was an intentional release? No. But Occam’s razor certainly falls there. From a logical standpoint, it’s very reasonable to assume this is what took place unless otherwise proven.

After all, we know that the Coronavirus didn’t originate from the Wuhan food market, but rather entered it. That “patient zero” who brought it to the food market has yet to be identified.

THE SYMPTOMS AND TRANSMISSION

The symptoms can range from no symptoms at all, to mild cold, to severe flu. The severity runs in accordance with age and health. The young and healthy bounce back quickly, while elderly or middle aged people with underlying health conditions may develop severe pneumonia.

The Coronavirus can be spread through air, or contact with the nose, mouth, and even the eyes, rendering face masks all but useless.

The Coronavirus has a symptom free phase ranging from 2 to 14 days where the host is contagious and can pass on the virus to others without showing any symptoms. This cannot be stressed enough.

This is a huge red flag. It is the most glaringly dangerous and consequential aspect of the Coronavirus transmission, yet people are treating it as a non-factor.

THE CONTAINMENT RESPONSE

This is where things really do not add up from the most practical standpoint.

The containment response has been focused exclusively on whether an individual is exhibiting symptoms and if they’ve been in physical contact with someone from an affected region. Coronavirus testing is largely limited to people who have exhibited symptoms and can be linked to another known case. This response can only be effective in circumstances when an individual is contagious only upon becoming symptomatic, as is the case with most viral illnesses. 

In a situation where people can spread the virus without symptoms for up to 14 days, this approach is bluntly missing the forest for the trees. Is it better than doing nothing? No, because doing nothing is just as effective and substantially cheaper than what’s being done now. The virus will be most largely spread by those who are infected but not symptomatic, and are going about their lives business as usual.

THE CONSEQUENCES

At the time of this writing, there have now been eleven deaths in  the United States linked to Coronavirus. Ten were in Washington State, the same state as the first confirmed Coronavirus case in the U.S., and one in California.

Most Washington deaths took place at EvergreenHealth Medical Center in Kirkland, WA. From local NBC affiliate King 5 News:

A man in his 50s was a patient at EvergreenHealth Medical Center in Kirkland and was the first in the country to die of coronavirus. He had underlying health conditions, Duchin said. The man had no history of travel outside of the U.S. or known contact with anyone who had COVID-19. He is also not connected to the possible outbreak at a nursing facility in Kirkland.

A man in his 70s was hospitalized at EvergreenHealth. He had underlying health conditions and died on Feb. 29.

Yes, you read that right. A Coronavirus outbreak has taken place at a nursing home facility in the same city of Kirkland, WA. There is no known connection between these deaths and that Kirkland facility leaving several in critical care.

Some people may write that off as coincidental. But Kirkland is far too small for this to be a coincidence. Let me put this into perspective for you.

In a span of 12 miles, you can drive from Bothell to Bellevue while quickly passing through Kirkland. That is a 3 city span.

In a 13 mile span, you can drive from North Seattle Community College to South Seattle Community College. Those aren’t even Seattle’s most northern or southern points. It’s simply a point of reference.

Cases being supposedly unrelated would be much more probable in a larger area like Seattle than they would a small area like Kirkland. These cases in Kirkland are clearly related, though indirectly, likely by a symptom-free transmission case  between them.

It’s clearly much more reasonable to assume there was an intermediary carrier between these two, than to assume they’re both somehow tied to Wuhan travelers, which there is also no evidence of.

THE LOGICAL CONCLUSION

To refresh your memory, the first thing China did after the Coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan was build the incinerators that were being protested against once people stayed inside out of fear. They behaved exactly as they would have had they purposefully let loose the Coronavirus.

Equally as important, with a facility like that in Wuhan which can alter and design viruses, what kind of designer virus would China let loose if their government could avoid culpability as it seemingly has?

From a Communism standpoint, they would favor a virus that kills those who consume from the system without the ability to be productive or contribute. Those who are able bodied, but choose not to be productive out of the allurement of compensation regardless of productivity, can later be forced into labor or be subjected to famines as was the case with The Great Leap Forward which killed 45 million people in 4 years under the Communist regime of Mao Zedong.

Keep in mind, these aren’t similar symptoms across the board that elderly and people with pre-existing health conditions simply have a harder time coping with. They can handle the common cold, as Coronavirus appears to present itself as to younger people.
