In the United States, the Biden administration just took a big step toward creating a New Green Republic with the passage of the falsely titled “Inflation Reduction Act.”  This new law may not reduce inflation, but by pumping another $370 billion into the economy, it sets the cornerstone for the new Republic.

Will these new republics be utopias or dictatorships? While only time will tell, a few places on earth are giving us a glimpse of the future.

Sri Lanka is an island nation off the coast of India. It had been rebuilding itself for decades after years of authoritarian rule. Its agriculture yield had so dramatically increased it had become a middle-income nation until its government banned the use of fertilizers for growing crops. The nation quickly became a nightmare with people starving, a third of its land dormant, crop yields cut in half, energy shortages, and skyrocketing inflation. The people revolted.

At the same time, the Netherlands government announced plans to cut nitrogen and ammonia emissions, thereby forcing thousands of family farms to be closed. Another baffling move since Dutch farmers are the second largest food exporters in the world. The farmers launched protests similar to the Canadian truckers. The protests are ongoing.

Across the world, green governments are seeking to ban new factory farms, pesticides, and even the use of pesticides on private property, beef, turkey, chicken, and cheese. Environmentalists are even organizing a revolution against factory-made food. To some, the entire food system is a threat to the environment.

Several commentators attribute Sri Lanka’s fall to its president “being under the spell of western green elites peddling organic agriculture and seeking a high ESG” (Environment, Social and Governance) rating. Sri Lanka has a near-perfect ESG score of 98. The U.S. has a 51, down with Cuba and Bulgaria. The Netherlands has a 90.7 ESG score.

These woke-type governments are choosing “climate and ESG goals at the expense of feeding their populations and enabling citizens to keep their homes warm during the winter.” The Biden administration is also obsessed with following this path.

An ESG score is a numerical measure of how a corporation or country is perceived to perform on a wide range of environmental, social, and governance topics. The operative word in the definition is “perceived.” Unfortunately, there is a gap between what is real and what is perceived. An ESG score is simply a branding effort by authoritarian governments to secure money from international organizations.

This is where government decision-making becomes baffling. An ESG rating “explains” how a nation’s risk factors impact the long-term sustainability of the economy.  Why would a country with a growing economy and high ESG rating intentionally ban pesticides and harm the economy and health of its people? Why would the Biden administration want to eliminate fossil fuels and the 6,000 essential products made from its components to sabotage the living standards of Americans?

When decisions simply do not make sense, they simply do not make sense.

Decisions to throw a nation into turmoil actually conflict with the theoretical goal of ESG, which is to help investors assess the sustainability of a country. A nation in chaos is not sustainable under any circumstances. These arbitrary decisions more closely resemble decisions made by Caligula, the Roman emperor who gave his horse a majestic house and, to prove his absolute power, sought to appoint the horse to the high office of consul before being assassinated.

A “spell” to protect the environment should cause the bewitched ruler to protect the environment; while destroying the means to produce food or energy, the ruler forces the nation into chaos, perhaps revolution. Both outcomes destroy the environment. There must be a more existential reason.  Either it is a drive to form a utopia, or it’s the implementation of the radical environmental community’s long-held belief that humanity is a cancer on the earth, and must go.

Finding utopia has been a dream of philosophers for centuries. Their dreams are structured around a beneficial elite; religious dogma, science, communism, or totalitarianism.

If the ruler takes the utopian path, it would have to take the path described by some as the “Great Reset.”  ESG would become a “social credit system to drive ownership and production away from the non-woke or non-compliant.” It is a system in which profitable monopolies and the state rule by controlling data, artificial intelligence, genetics, nanotechnology, and robotics. Humans would only know what the elite allow them to know. All human thought would be controlled by the elite.

The major problem with the utopian model is the difficulty of feeding seven billion humans. The elite would have to develop a massive food production system which would be extremely expensive, especially with bans on pesticides and many foods. It would literally require the enslavement of much of the population. Since the cost of supporting billions of people in utopia is too high, the elite need an easier plan to control humans.

Plan B is the plan the radical community has written about for a century, the mass reduction of humans. The Left’s Little Red Book on Forming a New Green Republic is a collection of quotations from the radical left that supports this view in their own words.

The famous undersea explorer, Jacque-Yves-Cousteau noted, “It’s terrible to have to say this. The world population must be stabilized and to do that, we must eliminate 350,000 people per day This is so horrible to contemplate that we shouldn’t even say it. But the general situation in which we are involved is lamentable.”

One of the wishes of Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh, President of the World Wildlife Fund International was “If I were reincarnated, I would wish to be returned to earth as a killer virus to lower human population levels.” And, our college-age students are being taught that government must focus on reducing the world population by at least 80%.

Perhaps the most honest discussion of humans being cancer on the earth is presented in a 2019 essay in “Culturico,” a Swiss Cultural platform that bills itself as fighting misinformation. “Culturico” compares humans to cancer cells. The environment is our host, and humans’ selfish, harmful actions are destroying the host, just as a tumor would destroy living organisms in our body. The platform goes through the five steps of how tumors spread cancer. The essay ends with the question, “Can we conclude that humans are a cancer? Yes, we are.”

If the environmental community believes its own writings, and there is no reason to doubt its beliefs, its long-term goal is to radically reduce the human population on this planet.

So, the next time some ruler—be it president, minister, or chief—performs a baffling act that harms a large number of people for some inexplicable reason, ask yourself what the ruler’s real intentions are. The ruler may be stupid, evil, or power-hungry, but the ruler may also be following the elite’s playbook of wanting humans gone so they can inhabit the earth without us cancer cells threatening their reign of the planet.

However when one reads the actual words of the Left, there is a disconnect between promises and intent. The Left manipulates words such as “green” (referencing environmentalism, a positive concept to many), to cover up its ‘red’ or socialist agenda (a negative concept to many). The manipulation of words is a proven political approach used to diminish freedom.

George Orwell noted, “Political language…is designed to make lies sound truthful…and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind.” Thus, necessity, many times, requires those seeking power over us to corrupt words so we believe something other than the advocate’s true purpose.

My new book, The Left’s Little Red Book on Forming a New Green Republic, is a collection of quotes from the left that advocate “capitalism must go,” “truth is not relevant,” “humans must go to save the planet,” and that without following its mandates, “the world will end in twelve years.” In the day of Covid-19, it is frightening to read the words of Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh – “If I were reincarnated, I would wish to be returned to earth as a killer virus to lower human population levels.”

Jacques Cousteau, one of the world’s most noted conservationists, using precise numbers, proposes, “World population must be stabilized and to do that we must eliminate 350,000 people per day.”

The reference to a “Little Red Book” alludes to Chairman Mao’s book of quotations: words proclaiming “truth” and a vision of utopia. His book educated the masses on politically correct thinking. Mao’s actions, however, were some of the most brutal in all of history.

The Left emulates Mao’s tactics. It preaches utopia and correct thinking while seeking domination. In 2020 America, The Left’s Little Red Book on Forming a New Green Republic describes how the political left use concern for the environment (Green New Deal, climate change) to attack capitalism and scare the country into socialism.

The Left’s Little Red Book captures the complex interrelationships between the radical Left, socialism, and environmentalism in under a half-hour, easy read. These small books are called “chapbooks.” They have been around since the 16^th century, initially used as educational books. The Left’s Little Red Book is an educational effort to expose the words of the Left so citizens can compare the actual spoken words against the promises of “utopia.”

There is no substitute for understanding the Left other than reading its actual words. General descriptions of their words would not be believable in a society that protects the rights of citizens. Reading the actual words of the Left equips one to recognize how the Left is misleading the American people with a promise of a Green New Deal, and claims this is the moment “when the rise of oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal…”

The reader will quickly appreciate where the Left wants to take this country. The New Green Republic will be a perfectly designed political state with a well-functioning regulatory machine that ensures “politically correct-thought” by the “masses.”

Of the literally millions of statements by the Left on the benefits of their Green New Deal and the regulation of society to “reduce the impacts of climate change,” there is not one utterance about the rights of people in a society. Every statement by the Left “puts us in our place,” “tells us how to live,” and “what to think.” The quotes from the Left merely confirm its goal of creating a country where free people cannot live.

To quote Peter Berle, president of the National Audubon Society, 1985-1995, “We reject the idea of private property.”

Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted — and then quickly deleted — comments that appeared to show adulation over the price of oil dipping below $0 a barrel, which will ultimately lead to job losses.

Ocasio-Cortez on Monday reacted gleefully at news that the price of oil had dropped below $0, saying that such a milestone would mean the United States was ripe for a mass transition to green energy. The comments appeared to suggest that Ocasio-Cortez was unaware of the job losses that would accompany the drop in price, or simply didn’t care.

The tweet also suggested that she didn’t understand consumers would be less likely to transition to expensive renewable energy sources while oil is cheaper than it’s ever been.

“You absolutely love to see it,” the first-term lawmaker tweeted Monday, responding to news that oil prices had reached negative values.

“This along with record low interest rates means it’s the right time for a worker-led, mass investment in green infrastructure to save our planet. *cough*,” she continued.

The progressive lawmaker deleted the tweet, but not before it caught the attention of social media and was archived permanently on the internet.

Ocasio-Cortez, outside of ousting a powerful House Democrat in the 2018 primary elections, is largely known for her Green New Deal proposal, which seeks to dramatically transition the country’s energy sector away from fossil fuels and toward renewable forms of energy, such as wind and solar.

Amid the global coronavirus pandemic, oil prices plunged into the negatives on Monday, which suggests that those who have oil to sell were willing to pay others in order to get rid of it as barrels continue to be stockpiled in any available space companies can locate.

Thousands of workers in the Houston area alone could lose their jobs amid the plunge in oil prices — with more job losses across the country to be expected.

After deleting her initial comments, she said the predicament was a “turning point” for the climate agenda.

“This snapshot is being acknowledged as a turning point in the climate movement. Fossil fuels are in long-term structural decline. This along w/ low interest rates means it‘s the right time to create millions of jobs transitioning to renewable and clean energy. A key opportunity,” she tweeted.

In a video clip posted to Twitter by Jason Howerton of The Blaze, the Democratic Congresswoman was spotted on her way to the bathroom dressed in a Batgirl Halloween costume.

“Congresswoman Porter, does Alfred get minimum wage? If you return the Batmobile, can you pay for the Green New Deal?” asked the reporter as Porter is seen going into the bathroom, dropping her coffee as she closed the door.

Twitter certainly didn’t waste an opportunity to play The Joker to Porter’s Batgirl as some of the responses were steamier than a witches cauldron.

One has to wonder if the Congresswoman’s refusal to answer this reporter’s playful banter in relation to her costume choice is an example of elitist arrogance? Either way, America can see that Rep. Porter’s choice of wardrobe is just about as scary as the world that Socialist policies like the Green New Deal would create for future generations of Americans.

The unidentified reporter’s questions certainly made a treat out for America out of Congresswoman Porter’s outfit. It’s pretty safe to say nobody wants to come with her to the bat cave.

2020 Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders introduced a $16.3 trillion Green-New-Deal-like plan on Thursday, which he says will create 20 million jobs.

The plan aims to make 100% of energy in the United States renewable by 2030 and have “full decarbonization” by 2050, according to Reuters.

“As President, Bernie Sanders will boldly embrace the moral imperative of climate change and mobilize the political will necessary for a wholesale transformation of our society, with massive investments in sustainable energy, energy efficiency, and a transformation of our transportation system,” his plan reads.

His plan also alleges that it will “pay for itself over 15 years” by increasing taxes on fossil fuel companies, generating revenue from federal renewable energy, scaling military spending back by $1 trillion and collecting income tax from the 20 million new jobs the plan aims to create.

Sanders‘ website says a Green New Deal will “save American families money and generate millions of jobs by transforming our energy system away from fossil fuels to 100% energy efficiency and sustainable energy.”

It will also “protect workers and the communities in which they live to ensure a transition to family-sustaining wage, union jobs.”

The decade-long plan would factor climate change into every policy decision made by the U.S. government from immigration reform to foreign policy, according to Reuters.

Policies listed within the plan itself include moving the U.S. away from the fossil fuel industry, re-entering the Paris Climate Agreement that President Donald Trump said the U.S. will be formally removed from in 2020 and spending trillions of dollars to help workers in the fossil fuel industry, as well as minority communities, transition into a green-energy economy.

Other 2020 Democratic candidates including Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Jay Inslee, Beto O’ Rourke and Cory Booker have also introduced climate change plans as part of their campaign platforms, and others have endorsed the Green New Deal plan introduced by New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

“I will be damned if the same politicians who refused to act then are going to try to come back today and say we need a middle of the road to approach to save our lives, that is too much for me. We cannot and will not accept anything less than a solution to save ourselves, and that’s exactly what this is.”

The crowd erupted in cheers as Ocasio-Cortez made her bold declaration, but many on Twitter saw her speech as wild and nutty claims which could be likened to the theatrics of a televangelist or snake oil salesman.

While you could scroll the Twitter feed all day and find some entertaining responses to the Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’s wild proclamations one Twitter user by the name of Schwinky made a valid point with a meme he posted that is quite scary if one sits and ponders it for a few seconds. His post reads, “Before anyone says anything about how dumb she is, remember there are 100,044 New Yorkers running around that voted for her that are just as dumb. (Scary isn’t it?)”

It is worth making a note that the Democratic congresswoman’s bold proclamation came just a day after she revealed that she was only joking about her original claims that the world would end in 12 years if we didn’t take strong action against climate change. She insisted the GOP simply didn’t understand “dry humor and sarcasm”, calling Republicans Dwight from the television series “The Office.”

“This is a technique of the GOP, to take dry humor + sarcasm literally and “fact check” it. Like the “world ending in 12 years” thing, you’d have to have the social intelligence of a sea sponge to think it’s literal. But the GOP is basically Dwight from The Office so who knows.”

I don’t know about you, but it seems to me like the only thing Ocasio-Cortez could possibly be joking about is that she’s economically literate.

Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke unveiled his own version of the Green New Deal, calling global warming the “greatest threat we face.”

The plan calls for $5 trillion over 10 years to build out renewable energy and infrastructure, increase research spending, affordable housing and a slew of other programs aimed at subsidizing U.S. households.

O’Rourke’s ultimate goal is to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, getting halfway there by 2030 through a “legally enforceable standard,” according to the plan’s one-page summary.

O’Rourke also said his plan would use “the full force of our democracy” to cut emissions and boost the economy. O’Rourke unveiled his climate agenda in Yosetime before meeting with climate scientists, according to CNN.

“Climate change is the greatest threat we face,” O’Rourke said in a tweet Monday. “And we won’t solve it with half measures or half the country. It will take all of us. That’s why I just announced an historic, ambitious plan to meet this challenge and invest in our communities.”

O’Rourke’s climate plan is similar to the Green New Deal resolution introduced by New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey in February. However, the Green New Deal calls for net-zero emissions in 10 years.

Whereas the Green New Deal is estimated to cost tens of trillions of dollars, O’Rourke said his $5 trillion would be leveraged with $1.5 trillion in government spending. That spending would be paid for by the wealthy and corporations paying “their fair share” and ending “tax breaks” for fossil fuel companies, according to the plan.

O’Rourke would also issue executive orders and regulations aimed at cutting greenhouse gas emissions, and he would rejoin the Paris climate accord that President Donald Trump plans on withdrawing from next year.

Executive actions would also include banning new coal, natural gas and oil extraction leases on federal lands, according to the plan — a plan nearly identical to what Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren proposed two weeks ago.

Both O’Rourke and Warren, also a Democratic 2020 contender, also proposed dramatically increasing renewable energy generation on public lands — which concerns conservationists — and making more areas off-limits to development, including by expanding national parks and monuments.

“We have one last chance to unleash the ingenuity and political will of hundreds of millions of Americans to meet this moment before it’s too late,” O’Rourke said Monday.

New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez released a video depicting a utopia where the Green New Deal turns the U.S. into a democratic socialist utopia, complete with a bullet train from New York City to D.C.

The video depicts a future where the Democrats take the Senate and White House in 2020 and enact a Green New Deal that ends up creating a “society that was not only modern and wealthy, but dignified and humane too,” Ocasio-Cortez says in the video.

Ocasio-Cortez says Americans need to close their eyes and “imagine” a Green New Deal society before it can happen. Meanwhile, energy experts and economists are skeptical the Green New Deal is possible or even desirable.

“We need to be able to close our eyes and imagine it,” Ocasio-Cortez says in the seven-minute cartoon. “We can be whatever we have the courage to see.”

Ocasio-Cortez introduced the Green New Deal in February, bungling the bill’s roll-out and creating confusion over her signature legislation. Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey introduced a companion bill in the Senate.

The Green New Deal calls for achieving “net-zero” greenhouse gas emissions in 10 years through a massive green energy build-up, including high-speed rail and retrofitting every building. The bill also calls for universal health care and job guarantees.

The video comes after the Green New Deal fell flat in Congress. The Green New Deal bill got zero votes in the Senate when it was brought to the floor, and parts of it were rejected by House Democrats during a committee hearing — including a “no” vote from Ocasio-Cortez.

Ocasio-Cortez teamed up with Justice Democrats, anti-capitalist author Naomi Klein and The Intercept, a news organization. Ocasio-Cortez said she’d been collaborating “for months” to get the video finished.

Part of the video focuses on Ileana, who Ocasio-Cortez calls “a true child of the Green New Deal.” Ileana gets a union job restoring wetlands in Louisiana as part of the Green New Deal — at this point there’s a labor shortage because of how massive an undertaking the Green New Deal is, says Ocasio-Cortez.

(Somehow all this work, including dismantling pipelines, is accomplished without gas-powered construction equipment.)

Ileana eventually becomes a teacher, then gets elected to Ocasio-Cortez’s seat in Congress. Ocasio-Cortez is, of course, recounting all this while riding high-speed rail from New York City to Washington, D.C.

Of course, it’s not all rainbows and butterflies, according to Ocasio-Cortez. Sometime in the future, Hurricane Sheldon hits southern Florida and “parts of Miami went underwater for the last time,” the congresswoman says.

However, Ocasio-Cortez says Americans were “lucky” to have enacted a Green New Deal and moved away from fossil fuels when they did — though climate models show the Green New Deal would have no material impact on projected warming.

“But as we battled the floods, fires and droughts, we knew how lucky we were to have started acting when we did,” Ocasio-Cortez says.

Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recorded a video Wednesday night about working long hours in her new congressional position, adding she’s barely even had time to buy furniture.

“Okay guys, I’m just getting out of work. That’s my office behind me,” Ocasio-Cortez says in a video posted to her Instagram story time-stamped 8:35 p.m.

Ocasio-Cortez said she works constantly and hasn’t had time to truly settle into her new home because of it.

“Um, the thing they don’t tell you about working in Congress is that if you do what you’re supposed to do, you’re working all the time — which means that you have no time to, like, set up your life, so I spent weeks sleeping on an air mattress,” she said.

” … and I don’t own a chair,” Ocasio-Cortez added. “So I’m gonna try to do that.”

Ocasio-Cortez is a self-declared Democratic socialist and is backing expansive programs, especially as she leads the push behind the Green New Deal, the latest effort by Democrats to solving the climate crisis.
